UNICELL platform

UNICELL is a research platform for the production of genomes and transcriptomes of single cells from complex microbial communities.

We aim at developing and implementing adapted protocols for genome and trancriptome amplification from prokaryotes (archaea, bacteria) and unicellular eukaryotes (protists).

Initially supported by the ERC-AdG ProtistWorld and a SESAME grant from the Région Ile-de-France, UNICELL encompasses the following equipment :

  • Flow cytometer – cell sorter BD FACSAria™ III
  • Pipeting robot TECAN Freedom EVO 150
  • Automate Light Cycler™ 480 II, Roche
  • Epifluorescence microscope Leica DM2000 LED
  • Inverted microscope Leica Dlll3000 B équipé d’un micromanipulateur Eppendorf PatchMan NP2
